IT & BROADBAND:
IT Support I or II
Put your skills to work across computers, networks, and broadband services.
MMU is seeking an IT professional to provide support for our utility departments, employees and high-speed internet customers. Duties include installing and troubleshooting computers, software, printers, and network equipment, plus assisting internet customers by phone and on-site.
Applicants should have relevant college, technical school, or certification coursework—or equivalent experience—and familiarity with computer systems and networking. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Placement at Level I or II will depend on qualifications.
A valid Missouri Class F driver’s license is required at hire. Residency within or near Marshall must be established within six months of hire.

UNDERGROUND FACILITIES:
General Maintenance/Meter Reader

Marshall Municipal Utilities (MMU) is seeking a dependable and safety-minded individual to join our Underground Facilities team. The successful applicant must work well independently and with others. This position involves outdoor work in varying weather and physically demanding tasks.
Duties include:
- Maintain tools, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Assist water distribution and wastewater collection crews.
- Learn meter reading and serviceperson duties and provide backup coverage as needed.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license at hire.
- Ability to obtain a Missouri Commercial Learner’s Permit within 90 days and a Class A CDL within 12 months of hire.
