HR & Outreach Technician
Marshall Municipal Utilities (MMU) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Outreach Technician to join our team. This role offers a unique blend of human resources, public outreach, and payroll backup responsibilities. The successful candidate will progressively take on greater responsibilities in HR and outreach functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values accuracy, communication, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support key HR operations like data management, recruitment, onboarding, background checks, benefits administration, workers’ compensation
- Support and participate in internal and external (public) outreach efforts, including community programs and employee appreciation efforts
- Process payroll in the absence of the Payroll Specialist
- Handle confidential employee and organizational information with discretion and integrity
- Learn and grow into more advanced HR and outreach responsibilities over time

UNDERGROUND FACILITIES:
General Maintenance/Meter Reader
Do you like being outdoors, staying active, and working with your hands? MMU is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join our Underground Facilities team.
Full-time | Excellent Benefits |Career Growth Potential
Unique role offering variety – half of your time will be spent walking routes and reading water meters, and the other half will be hands-on with maintenance and construction of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
High School graduate or equivalent; MO Class A CDL (may be obtained after hire).
