Wastewater

Wastewater Treatment Plant Filter Building

WWTP Filter Building

A public sewer system was first established in Marshall by an ordinance dated September 11, 1886. Our Wastewater Utility is divided into two sections - Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection. Wastewater Treatment is done at our Plant on Watermill Road. Wastewater Collection is handled by our Underground Facilities Department, based at our Service Center at the intersection of Arrow Street and Highway 65.

Follow the links on the menu at left to find out more about how MMU collects and treats wastewater in the City of Marshall.
