Cascade Aerator

Cascade Aerator

Cascade Aerator

The last portion of the aqueous treatment process is the Cascade Aerator. This structure is designed to insure that the final effluent has a DO of at least 5 mg/l. There is an effluent reuse pump mounted in this structure also. This pump is used for pumping the plant effluent to the filter building where it can be used for the belt press operation.

From the cascade aerator, the clean water goes back into the environment by entering Salt Fork Creek.

Effluent Reuse Building

Effluent Reuse Building

Next to the cascade aerator is the Effluent Reuse Building. This building houses pumps that take some of the effluent up to the Indian Foothills Park Golf Course for watering.
