MMU is supplied by ground water pumped from ten wells located near Malta Bend. We have an eleventh site and are searching for a twelfth. The wells have been drilled over time with the first three going back to the original plant construction in 1945 and the last in 1978. The wells range in depth from 119 to 147.4 feet. Maximum capacity ranges from 557 to 849 gallons per minute(gpm).
