Primary Basins
Primary Basins
After aeration, the water goes to one of our three primary basins. Basin 1 is from the original plant construction in 1945. Basin 2 is from the mid-60's expansion. Basin 3 was added in 1977. All three basins are drained and cleaned semiannually. At the primary basins, lime is added to soften the water.
