Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employee of the Quarter

MMU has announced Jim Conrad as their Employee of the Quarter for the quarter ending September 30, 2011.

December 15, 2011: Marshall - Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Jim Conrad as their "Employee of the Quarter" for the quarter ending September 30, 2011. Conrad was selected by a group of his peers from 3 nominees out of a pool of approximately 90 eligible employees.

In nominating Conrad, Electric Production Director Jim Johnson noted his work with ash disposal and boiler cleaning, a "very demanding job in a very hot and dirty environment." Johnson's nomination also highlighted Conrad's work as one of MMU's certified asbestos workers, his help with hazardous waste storage and in the tool room.

Conrad began his employment with MMU in May 1983. He holds the position of General Maintenance/Rover Operator in Electric Production.
