Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employee of the Quarter

MMU has announced Debbie McCorkle as their Employee of the Quarter for the quarter ending June 30, 2010.

August 19, 2010: Marshall - Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Debbie McCorkle as their "Employee of the Quarter" for the quarter ending June 30, 2010. McCorkle was selected by a group of her peers from 3 nominees out of a pool of approximately 90 eligible employees.

In nominating McCorkle, Administrative Services Director Ken Gieringer cited the fact that McCorkle handled a number of extra duties during a recent staffing shortage. The nomination went on to note that McCorkle's efforts ensured the timely processing of payroll.

McCorkle began her full time employment with MMU in January 1985 as a Utilities Teller Cashier. She became an Accounting Associate in 1989 and in March 2009, McCorkle was promoted to Accounting Assistant, the position she holds today.
