Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employees of the Quarter

MMU has announced Steve Harris and Jerrad King as their Employees of the Quarter for the quarter ending December 31, 2007.

February 20, 2008: Marshall - Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Steve Harris and Jerrad King as their "Employees of the Quarter" for the quarter ending December 31, 2007. The group was selected by a group of their peers from 4 nominees out of a pool of approximately 85 eligible employees.

In nominating the pair, Administrative Services Director Ken Gieringer cited their responsibilities in building a new communication system for the citizens of Marshall. Gieringer's nomination noted the pride they take in "building a system that will serve Marshall for many years in the future," and their willingness to assist other crews in any area needing assistance.

Harris holds the position of Lead Fiber Optic Technician and King holds the position of Fiber Optic Technician. Harris began his employment with MMU in October 2005 and King began in October 2003.
